20080719 PNEUMA: Self Control

pneuma

Message Series: PNEUMA

Pneuma means spirit in Greek. Imagine how having God’s own Spirit living in you would make a difference right where it matters!

SelfControl
Message Title: Self Control ( Msg 16 )

Message Summary: Self Control brings with it the good feeling of competency. Like a finely-tuned precision automobile, your life stays on course with the slightest touch of the steering. The results of self-control are confidence and an inner sense of security. It is also a key factor in any success you hope to have in this life.

In this part of a series called HISTORY, Andy Stanley reminds us all that when all hope of restoration was lost, history took an altogether unexpected turn. God came in human form, not to punish or destroy, but to weave even into the darkest experience a tapestry of His glory.

Gentleness
NORTH SHORE CAMPUS

Message Title: Gentleness ( Msg 14 )
Message Summary: It may not be an attribute seen in many of today's Fortune 500 leaders, but it was exemplified by the Ruler of the Universe. Discover how the Holy Spirit’s fruit of meekness can transform your most challenging relationships. You'll see how God's definition of meek has nothing to do with weak but rather is an unusual use of strength and power.
